Meet Ana: Our New Program Director 🦸‍♀️

Meet Ana

Ana has dedicated her life to protecting the rights of refugees and asylum seekers and ensuring the United States commits to refugee protection at home and abroad. She hails from Mexico City, cut her teeth on the frontlines of the Texas border crisis, and currently lives in Washington, DC.Ana brings both deep and broad experience in the field of immigration justice. She's led legal services coordination for asylum seekers in Los Angeles and worked near the U.S. and Mexico border. Over her prodigious career,  she's provided legal orientations, screenings, and case management for underserved immigrants. Additionally, she represented an unprecedented influx of unaccompanied minors at the United States’ southern border.Meet  Ana and learn about her immigration journey here
